What Does the HO stand for in 302 5.0 HO engines

Not sure what you are doing to determine the firing order, but if you are looking at numbering on the wires someone could have used lets say a number 8 on the wire going to cyl. 4 and it could screw you up. Also make sure you are using the correct distributor rotation when checking the firing...

    Question on your combo's

300 to 325 is pretty typical numbers I have seen from browsing with alum. heads on a 302. My buddies Mark VII rebuilt 304 with comp cams xe series, E7's ported by thumper was high 290's if I remember correctly.

    Question on your combo's

You must have one for sale, hahaha, just kidding. Probably will go bigger TB and MAF, just that when I did the b-cam in the stock motor figured 65 was good choice. Although I have seen Mark VII's go 11's with a 65 TB. Here is a pick of my old Mark VII

Need some help. T-5 swap. Tador?

From what I remember reading from a long time ago is that the input shaft is very slightly longer, enough that puts pressure on the crankshaft and over time wears the thrust bearing when mounted to the 8 cylinder. I think also the pilot bearing may be a diff size. I had a 85 Turbo T-bird that I...
